D’Amico . Burchfield helped a Johnston man collect $125,000 for head injuries from a “hit and run” accident. The injured man, while operating on Route 10, was rear ended, causing his car to roll over from the impact. The at fault vehicle fled the scene. The injured man sustained serious head injuries and had little memory of the accident. After diligently investigating the claim, D’Amico.Burchfield determined the man was eligible to receive benefits from two uninsured motorist policies. D’Amico.Burchfield helped a Providence man recover $92,000 for broken ribs and punctured lung injuries that occurred when he was hit by a car while riding his moped to work. The at fault car was not insured at the time therefore an uninsured motorist claim was filed with the injured man’s insurance company. At first the insurance company denied coverage on a “family member” issue. On March 29, 2012, Bob D’Amico, Jimmy Burchfield, Jennifer Pestonit and Mike Goldberg participated in JA in a Day, at the Randall Holden Elementary School in Warwick RI. JA in a Day is presented by Junior Achievement of Rhode Island as part of its goal to reach as many of Rhode Island’s student population as possible. Bob, Jimmy, Jennifer and Mike spent the day teaching elementary school students about concepts in business and economics. Collectively we reached about 80 students with Junior Achievement’s important message. Bob and Jimmy and are on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of RI and D’Amico Burchfield is a proud sponsor Junior Achievement and proud to participate in the education and betterment of Rhode Island students.
